Australian actress Cate Blanchett was certainly dressed to impress and feeling perhaps a little patriotic when she arrived at the 27th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala.
The 46-year-old stepped out at the Convention Centre in California on Saturday showcasing a beautiful blue gown embellished with a floral design resembling a native Australian plant.
Cate's pale blue number featured red blooms across the front, very similar to the Albany red flowering gum, part of the Eucalyptus plant family.
