They're the best of friends, are both dating Jonas brothers, and have thriving modelling careers.
And now, at least according to them, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid have even more in common than just their dating habits and career trajectory.
Kendall, 19, once alluded to how she and her best friend are actually related and during a recent chat with Vanity Fair, Gigi, 20, finally explained the tangled web that binds them.

Gigi explained that she and Kendall have just always wanted to be sisters, adding, 'since we're best friends we just want to be related.'
However, according to the blonde model, they actually are related (kind of): 'My mom married David [Foster], who was married to Linda Jenner [now, Thompson], who was Bruce Jenner‘s ex-wife [now Caitlyn Jenner].'
'We’re related through divorced marriages,' she attempted to clarify.
But when pressed on how that actually makes them related, other than both of their parents sharing ex wives, she back tracked and settled on: 'We're best friends'.
Meanwhile, Kendall and Nick Jonas may be the latest celebrity couple.
The reality star and model and musician Jonas, 22, reportedly hit it off after model pal Gigi - who is dating Nick's older brother Joe - stepped in to play matchmaker at a Las Vegas party on July 25th.
The pair have been dating and exchanging flirty texts ever since, reports US Weekly.
Hadid, who has been dating Joe since breaking up with Aussie singer Cody Simpson in May, apparently thought her gal pal Kendall would hit it off with Nick.
So the sneaky blonde beauty invited Kendall to join them at Joe's DJ show at Las Vegas' Hyde Lounge at the Bellagio on July 25, knowing Nick would also be there.
'Gigi and Joe were trying to encourage' the relationship, a source told the magazine.
